Meuri's Mental Dog Art positively changes your dog
Dog training school/behavioral therapy – active for over 25 years. A unique method that works successfully "without" commands/treats, positive reinforcement (conditioning), and absolutely no force or pressure. Meuri's Mental Dog Art is inspiring more and more dog owners, and for good reason. When you learn our method, you'll immediately recognize every other dog owner who has been or is currently with us. That's unique!
Women will find the method they've been searching for with us; your wish will come true. Meuri's Mental Dog Art will change your relationship with your dog in a very positive way.

Our method is the opposite of what all other dog training schools do. Its effectiveness is incredibly high; you can't imagine it unless you see it for yourself. This method is guaranteed to be gentler than anything you've experienced before. Your dog will understand us immediately, and we'll introduce you to this method step by step. Learn to understand why your dog reacts the way it does to a particular situation. Simply issuing more commands or using distractions (treats, games, etc.) won't get you anywhere. Instead, this will subject both you and your dog to years of stress without any real, visible results. It doesn't have to be this way.
In our dog training school, there is no hierarchy (pack structure), but rather mutual trust. We grew up with dogs from childhood. For 35 years, however, we have always lived with a pack of at least six dogs. Of course, we have also raised numerous packs of puppies during this time. Hierarchy is unnecessary in a harmonious pack, and certainly not for a single dog. We also do not work with the dogs non-verbally, meaning not with hand signals and so on.
The goal should be communication on equal terms. I have the strongest trust in my best friend when neither of us subordinates the other.
Those who have to give commands don't trust. Giving commands is not a sign of strength, but of helplessness. We'll show you what a dog is like when it's led without helplessness.

Dogs feel at home here, and so do people.
We would be happy to show you how we work in an introductory session. During this approximately 90-minute session, we will demonstrate how your dog could be. We will demonstrate it with your dog – this is an experience you can only have with us. You will be surprised how quickly your dog understands what we are showing him. However, please be aware that it will be a completely different approach than the one you have taken so far. Your dog will thank you, and you will experience a new, profound connection with your canine companion.
Please contact us by phone at 41 71 971 32 49 or via our contact form.
The introductory session takes place outdoors.

Rocky completely relaxed after the run – me; to Köbi, look where he's sleeping – Köbi; yes, he's completely relaxed now, he wouldn't have been like that a few months ago, me; yes, dog school really does make a difference, not just for Rocky but for me too – Köbi; yes, really, you're completely relaxed too, he tells his colleagues, when women seem fidgety, you send them to Meuri's dog school, with or without a dog 🙈🤷♀️🤣🤣🤣
Many dog owners who attend an introductory session with us tell us, "I've been coming across your website for a while now. Then I finally decided to call." Now, after this introductory session, I know I should have come much sooner and saved myself a lot of trouble!

Many dog owners stop with their dog when they have to cross paths with another dog. Not only that, they also try to distract it with treats or force it into a sit or down. Others even spray it with water, etc. This isn't a criticism of these dog owners; after all, that's how they learned it somewhere. It's not particularly pleasant for those who have to pass, whether they have a dog or not. Such pairs don't exactly inspire confidence. For us, crossing paths like this isn't a practical solution. Every dog owner should be able to cross paths while walking without being crowded or impeded. That's why everyone in our program learns to handle their dog in such a way that they can calmly navigate even the most challenging situations. Appear to every living being as a good dog handler.
The brown Labrador-Schnauzer mix, pictured at the top right and also shown in the video below, was a dog raised according to a pack structure. At not even a year and a half old, he bit a little girl severely in the face. He was also very aggressive towards other dogs and cats. Nio obeyed commands perfectly, but ultimately it was of little use. The problem with this kind of training is that you always have to control and command everything with such a dog. If I'm distracted or can't apply the necessary pressure for any reason, it can quickly become dangerous. The incident didn't happen to the owners, but to an acquaintance who was out with Nio. As a result of this incident, the young family received strict regulations from the veterinary office. This is how they ended up at our dog training school. We quickly realized that the family had developed a deep distrust of Nio because of this biting attack and were also afraid that Nio might attack their own children. We suggested that you take a young Irish Setter from us and start fresh, and we would take Nio and provide him with therapy. The risk of something happening again was simply too great. We gradually weaned Nio off his hierarchical upbringing and guided him in our own way. Nio then spent 12 happy years with us and remained a wonderful playmate for our grandchildren until the very end; they always affectionately called him Brumbär (Grumpy Bear). He passed away in the spring of 2021 due to old age.
Now I hear many saying, "You wouldn't give a dog like that to anyone else." But that's not the real problem. Anyone who owns such a dog—and there are many—is never completely protected from the possibility that the dog might bite in difficult, unforeseen situations. Therefore, in such situations, you can only rely on dogs that react appropriately themselves (this applies to any misbehavior in dogs, including chasing, etc.). Simply saying, "But otherwise, he's a sweetheart," isn't enough. It makes no difference whether the dog is large or small.
