Ticks

Tick repellent

Did you know that chemical tick repellents contain high doses of neurotoxins?

Did you know that these remedies do not prevent tick bites?

Did you know that many dogs and cats have severe allergic reactions to these products?

Did you know that once these substances are on the skin, they cannot be removed?

Did you know that the poison enters your dog's skin, bloodstream, and entire body?

Did you know that the tick or flea ultimately dies from the poison that your dog carries within it, meaning that your dog is essentially a walking poison ampoule?

Would you put such a poison on your skin?

If you answer yes to this question, then continue using these products on your dog. If no, you should look for a new method.

What are the alternatives?

Natural remedies. How do these remedies work?

Ticks don't have eyes; they orient themselves by the lactic acid taste of their host. This means that if I neutralize the lactic acid taste, the tick can no longer orient itself. If a dog has a strong lactic acid taste, it needs more of the same product than one with a weaker taste. There are also dogs that don't need anything at all because their natural scent is very weak.

We train our dogs to stay on the path and not run into every patch of grass and bush. This alone is guaranteed to reduce tick infestations by 70%. If you prefer to use natural remedies, you'll achieve the best results by using two different methods simultaneously. For example, one for oral administration and one for external application. If I'm smart and want to help my dog, I'll try to ensure that he gets bitten by as few ticks as possible, and not that the ticks that are already bitten die from the bite!
