General Terms and Conditions

1. Registration

Registration is done via the registration form and is binding. By signing, you agree to all terms.

The registration form can be filled out and submitted directly on the Dog Pets Meuri dog training school website. (www.meuri.net)

For all courses, the number of participants and participating dogs is limited. Registrations will be considered in the order they are received.

Upon registration, the participant agrees to inform the trainer about any behavioral problems, aggression, and anxiety.

2. Animal health / Dog registration

Participants agree to attend training sessions only with a healthy animal that poses no risk of infection to other persons or animals, is free of vermin, and is physically capable of meeting the demands of the lessons.

Please inform us of any health problems your dog may have before the course begins. Dogs with contagious diseases may not participate in the course.

3. Course Implementation

The dog training school Dog Pets Meuri reserves the right to postpone or cancel a course for organizational reasons (e.g., insufficient registrations or exceptional circumstances). This decision is usually made one week before the course begins and will be communicated to registered participants immediately.

In the event of unacceptable weather conditions, courses may be postponed at the discretion of the Dog Pets Meuri dog school for safety reasons.

4. Insurance / Liability

Each participating dog must have adequate and valid liability insurance. The liability insurance policy must be presented upon request.

Participants are liable for all damages caused by themselves and/or their dog.

The dog training school Dog Pets Meuri accepts no liability whatsoever for personal injury, property damage, or financial loss resulting from the application and execution of the exercises shown and instructed, nor for damage/injuries of any kind caused by participating dogs. Participants are responsible for informing all accompanying persons of this disclaimer of liability.

Participation, attendance, and practice by participating persons and animals in the lessons, play sessions, and/or consultations are undertaken entirely at their own risk and responsibility.

The dog training school Dog Pets Meuri accepts no liability for injuries that may occur during free play of the dogs.

The customer is fully liable for any damage to or loss of equipment rented from the Dog Pets Meuri dog school.

5. Success Guarantee

Success cannot be guaranteed, as it also depends on the cooperation of the participants and the capabilities of the dog.

  1. pay

We indicate on our homepage when you should not register for an introductory lesson. If someone registers without informing us, we reserve the right to cancel the lesson. In such a case, you are not entitled to a refund of the course fee. Course fees are payable in advance immediately after registration in our online shop. Please note that your registration is only considered reserved once the course fee has been credited to our account and you have received a payment confirmation from us via email. Only participants whose course fees have been paid will be admitted. If you do not attend, you are not entitled to a refund. You can reschedule a scheduled appointment, but you must notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Reserved appointments are non-refundable.

  1. Absences

For group courses, a maximum of two sessions can be missed and made up later. Participants must cancel in a timely manner; otherwise, the session will be recorded as attended. Unused sessions are not transferable. For introductory and private lessons, the scheduled appointment can be rescheduled a maximum of once; after that, the appointment will be recorded as attended.

8. Course withdrawal

Registration for a course can be cancelled free of charge up to two weeks before the start date. If no cancellation is received by two weeks before the start of the course, the full course fee will be charged.

If the participant terminates the course prematurely, there is no entitlement to a refund of the course fees.

If withdrawal/early termination occurs due to hardship, such as serious illness or death of the participant or dog, the Dog Pets Meuri dog training school may waive/refund all or part of the course fee for the unattended course(s) or lessons. Dog Pets Meuri reserves the right to request notarized documentation.

9. Course Exclusion

The dog training school Dog Pets Meuri reserves the right to exclude participants from the course if they do not treat their dog appropriately, hit or mistreat it.

In the event of conspicuous misbehavior by the dog, the Dog Pets Meuri dog training school reserves the right to exclude further course participation from an assessment by a neutral party.

The course will be conducted with the assistance of a specialist. If the participant is unwilling to comply, they will be immediately excluded from the course.

Particularly aggressive dogs can be immediately excluded and reported to the relevant authorities or specialist agencies. A report will also be filed in cases of suspected violations of animal welfare legislation.

The dog training school Dog Pets Meuri reserves the right to exclude disruptive course participants from the course without giving reasons.

In case of exclusion from the course, there is no entitlement to a refund of the course fees.

10. Images

The dog training school Dog Pets Meuri has the right to use any photographic material taken during the course free of charge for advertising purposes (homepage, brochures, etc.) in connection with the dog training school Dog Pets Meuri.

11. Course Rules

The instructor's instructions must be followed.

The dogs may only be released on the instructions of the course instructors.

The participating dogs should not be fed for at least 1.5 hours before the course.

Dogs must arrive at the course clean. Strict adherence to stool removal policy is required.

Please contact the course instructor if your female dog is in heat.

12. Applicable Law / Jurisdiction / Severability Clause

Swiss law applies.

Jurisdiction Thurgau

Should one or more provisions be or become wholly or partially invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by the applicable statutory provision.
